Don’t miss out on this opportunity, whether you choose to work remotely or not, in one or both official languages.

Eligibility

If you meet these three criteria, you’re qualified for this program:

You are a full-time high school, CEGEP, college, or university student returning to full-time studies in the next academic year, and you fulfill the province/territorial minimum age requirement.

Students with physical or emotional problems who are considered full-time by their academic institution are included. Students in higher education who are adult students enrolled in secondary school education and retraining programs may be eligible for student employment programs.

Students in their final year of academic study who do not intend to return to full-time studies are permitted to work part-time until they graduate.

Find out if you’re eligible as a student.

Note: Canadian nationals who meet the job qualifications will be given preference.

Diversity

Be a part of a public service that reflects and incorporates Canada’s many identities, cultures, viewpoints, and experiences. You can specify (self-declare) whether you are a woman, an Aboriginal person, a member of a visible minority, or a person with a disability when you apply. Some jobs are only accessible for a limited time.

To be considered for these chances, you must self-declare.

Students With Physical Challenges

We want to make sure you get the help you need to completely exhibit your ability if you have specific assessment needs. If you’re approached for a test or interview, request accommodations from the person who contacted you. This information will remain confidential.

Job Inventories

All departments and agencies have access to our largest student inventory, which is open all year. It has full-time and part-time job openings in a range of sectors, including sciences, trades, administration, information technology, finance, and more!

What To Expect After You Apply

Your application will be added to the student inventory for the position you applied for. When vacancies become available, managers will use the inventory to fill them.
If you’re matched with a job opportunity or if your application status changes, you’ll receive an email notification.
If your application is chosen for further consideration, a manager will contact you to schedule a test and/or interview.

Keep an eye on this page for fresh job opportunities and sign up for job alerts.

Not every student who submits an application will receive a response. A random selection of applicants satisfying all job qualifications may be employed to ensure a fair selection process.
