The funding program’s goal is to help both domestic and international students pursue Master’s or Doctoral degrees at UBC in Canada. The scholars will receive a $20,000 stipend as well as a $2,500 research and travel allowance.

Benefits of WorkSafeBC Research Training Awards
WorkSafeBC Research Training Awards will include a $20,000 stipend as well as a $2,500 research and travel allowance from the University of British Columbia. Master’s and doctoral students are funded for one and two years, respectively. Recipients may apply to have their grants extended for another year.
Eligibility
WorkSafeBC Research Training Awards are open to both international students and Canadian permanent residents.
Acceptable subjects or courses include: A scholarship will be awarded to the university’s Masters and Doctoral degree programs.
Acceptable Requirements: To be accepted into the program, applicants must have prior Certificates of Degree.
